Craig Phillips, CEO/Managing Partner, co-founded Client 1st Advisory Group as a premier Wealth Management firm whose unique consultative client management process enables the firm to deliver a consistent, high-quality experience to each client.

He has been managing investment solutions customized to each client which provide low volatility but are at the same time highly effective, since 1995.

Craig conforms to the code of ethics of the International Board of Certified Financial Planners (IBCFP). He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Tampa Bay Affiliate of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) as well as FPA representative to the annual Charitable Estate & Financial Planning Symposium.

Craig is a broadcast journalist and former co-host of radio’s “Talking Money,” which until 1998 was heard locally and in national syndication.

During 2008, Craig served on a Bank of New York/Mellon Pershing Advisory Board.

He is active in the community.  He was appointed by Florida Governor Rick Scott in 2015 as Chairman of the Early Learning Coalition of Pinellas County, and previously served as Treasurer to oversee the agency’s $50 million budget; he serves as a Trustee and is the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Directions for Mental Health, Inc., a not for profit community mental health center; he is the Past Chairman of the Board of Directors and volunteer of the Clearwater Free Clinic.

He is a graduate and member of Leadership Pinellas; he is the Past Chairman of the Humane Society of Pinellas’ Foundation Board and he currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors of Belleair Country Club.

Craig and his wife Peggy are a long time residents of Pinellas County, Florida.   He is a graduate of Florida State University.
